Kurobuta Pork

Kurobuta Pork comes from the heritage Berkshire breed of hog, a rare English breed that the Japanese elevated to another level. Their coats are black in color, they're massaged daily and fed a mix of beer and sake with their diet (a practice similar to that performed on Wagyu cattle to produce Kobe beef). The pork is marbled liked beef and prized for its incredible tenderness and robust flavor. Many consider Kurobuta (Berkshire) to be the best pork in the world.
